Individual Therapy

There are a number of things that bring a person into therapy; major life change, trauma, re-establishing therapy after remission of a disorder. Whatever brings you into therapy, I approach each case presentation as unique and tailor my interventions to meet your needs. This might mean we have only only one session together or many; it could be talk or narrative oriented, or skills focused in order to achieve a desired level of function.

Thanks to my Masters in Social Work, my approach to therapy is informed by a holistic strengths-based approach. I meet my client where they are at with whatever concern or issue they bring to therapy. I approach the presenting problem through DBT, RO-DBT, solution- focused therapy, and a number of other modalities.
